What is a 457 Visa?
The 457 visa is the most commonly used visa for employers to sponsor overseas individuals to work in Australia on a temporary basis. The employer must be an approved Standard Business Sponsor or hold a Labour Agreement by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship.
I have a job offer but the company is unable to sponsor me, can you help?

What requirements to I need to be eligible for a 457 visa through Geoffrey Nathan Consulting Inc?
- You must have a full time/permanent job offer or a contract in excess of 12 months
- Your Occupation must be listed on our Labour Agreement
- You must have over 5 years experience or a relevant degree
- Your salary needs to be a minimum of $75,000 plus superannuation for non IT roles, for an IT role your salary needs to be a minimum of $80,000 plus superannuation.
How long does it take to secure a 457 Visa?
This is subject to the Department of Immigration and Citizenship processing times.
Can I change the company I work for while on a 457 visa?

Can I claim a Living Away From Home Allowance (LAFHA)?
