What is the Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS)?

The Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) allows companies to sponsor employees for a permanent visa to work in Australia.

Who would be my employer?

Geoffrey Nathan Consulting Inc will be your employer and will on-hire your services to the end user company.

How will I know if I am eligible for ENS?

  • You will need to have a current job offer that pays a minimum salary of $65,000 plus superannuation for non I.T. roles. The salary requirement for I.T. roles is a minimum of $75,000 plus superannuation.
  • You will need to have a degree and 3 years relevant post graduation experience relevant to your job offer
  • Your occupation needs to be listed on the Department of Immigration and Citizenship Employer Nomination Scheme list. (link to DIAC listing)

 

Can you assess my eligibility before I have received a job offer?

Yes, our migration team can assess your eligibility prior to you receiving a job offer and can also make contact with companies that you are interviewing with to explain the application process.

What visas can I apply for ENS from?

You can apply for ENS from a 457, student or working holiday visa.

How long does it take to secure ENS?

This is subject to the Department of Immigration and Citizenship processing times.

Can I claim a Living Away From Home Allowance (LAFHA)?

Individuals who are eligible for ENS may also be entitled to LAFHA. For more information regarding LAFHA please click here.
