Employer Nominated Scheme (ENS)

The Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) enables employers to sponsor highly skilled individuals to fill vacancies in their business. Skilled individuals can be recruited either from overseas, or from people temporarily residing in Australia.

The company and the position on offer must be approved by the Department of Home Affairs and the individual must meet the eligibility, health and character requirements.

How will I know if I am eligible for ENS?

  • You will need to have a current job offer
  • You will need to have a degree and 3 years relevant post-graduation experience relevant to your job offer
  • Your occupation needs to be listed on the Department of Home Affairs Employer Nomination Scheme List
  • You will need to meet all requirements set out by the Department of Home Affairs
